Google, Yahoo et Microsoft viennent de s'accorder sur un sitemap standard commun.
Le sitemap permet de fournir aux moteurs de recherche une liste d'URLs à indexer, ainsi que d'autres informations sous la forme d'un fichier XML.
Vous pouurez trouver toutes les spécifications pour réaliser un sitemap sur le site de www.sitemap.org.
Ce sitemap , peux etre remplacé par un flux RSS ou Atom pour les blogs sur Google Sitemaps ou Yahoo! Site Explorer.

Sitebases, the next protocol after Sitemaps
It can save the time and press for the search engine, also for the websites.
It can bring new search engine that named Search Engine 2.0.
Using Sitebases protocol, will save 95% bandwidth above. It is another sample for long tail theory.
In this protocol, I suggested that all search engine can share their Big Sitebases each other, so the webmaster just need to submit their Sitebases to one Search Engine.
And I suggested that all search engines can open their search API for free and unlimited using.
Bonne chose qu'ils se soient mis d'accord, cela pourrait faciliter la vie des producteurs de contenus web. N'empêche, placer un sitemap est-ce vraiment indispensable ? Je ne suis pas convaincu.
